How it all started...
Mission Harvest Baptist Church Clarksville, Tennessee, is a church plant from Greentown Baptist Church (est. 2022) in Stark County, Ohio, which itself is a church plant of First Baptist Church of Jackson (est. 2000) also located in Stark County. FBCJ was a church plant of First Baptist Church of New Philadelphia (est. 1858).
In March 2022, God opened an opportunity for an online Bible study for active duty and veteran service members (Warrior's Devotional). As that weekly Bible study grew, so did the number of guests joining from Clarksville. After several years of prayer and preparation, Mission Harvest Baptist Church was officially incorporated in December 2025. On May 31, 2026 we were sent out from Greentown Baptist Church with 12 adults and 13 children.
MHBC will meet for our a first planned service on September 6th, 2026.
