Mission Harvest Baptist is a church plant from Greentown Baptist Church in Canton, Ohio, which itself is a church plant of First Baptist Church of Jackson in Massillon, Ohio. FBCJ was a church plant of First Baptist Church of New Philadelphia. This heritage reflects God's faithfulness through generations of churches committed to planting churches, preaching the gospel, and making disciples. We are grateful to continue that legacy in Clarksville, Tennessee.

In March 2022, God opened an opportunity for an online Bible study for active duty and veteran service members, Warrior's Devotional, led by Pastor Jake Allen. As that weekly Bible study grew, so did the number of guests joining from Fort Campbell and the surrounding Clarksville area.  After several years of prayer and preparation, Mission Harvest Baptist Church was officially incorporated in December 2025. MHBC was sent out from Greentown Baptist Church with 12 adults and 13 children in May 2026.
